DEBORAH VOIGT IN CONCERT
For our season grand finale, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m., the lovely Ms. DEBORAH VOIGT graced our stage with an intoxicating and divine evening! This event was presented at the WAXLAX Center for the Performing Arts before a sold-out house. Vero Beach Mayor, the Honorable Tom White, presented Ms. Deborah Voigt with the key to the City and a Proclamation recognizing her contributions to the operatic arts in Vero Beach and the world. Pianist Brian Zeger has built an important career not only as a pianist, appearing in distinguished concert venues all over the United States and Europe, but also as an ensemble performer par excellence, artistic administrator and educator. In a career spanning more than two decades, Mr. Zeger has collaborated with such artists as violinist Itzhak Perlman, flutist James Galway, actress Claire Bloom, and song recitalists Marilyn Horne, Kathleen Battle and Arleen Auger. In addition to his distinguished concert career, he has also just completed his second season as Artistic Director of the Vocal Arts Department at The Juilliard School.
