The Cultural Council of Indian River County's 2010 Laurel Awards were held April 23, 2010 and it was a spectacular event, held at Riverside Theatre.

The Carolyn K. Eggert Award was presented to Román and Joan Ortega-Cowan for their work with Vero Beach Opera. Cathie Callery received the Volunteer/Activist Award. The Philanthropic/Business Award was presented to Jafar Falasiri of Falasiri Rugs. Warren Obluck received the Cultural/Professional Award for his work with the Vero Beach Museum of Art. Artists Del and Jeanne Peterson were chosen to receive the Artist Award for their work with the Vero Beach Art Club.  Visit www.cultural-council.org.
