Vero Beach Opera presented a Broadway, Operetta and Zarzuela Concert on Saturday, February 4 at 7:00 pm with performances by members of the Miami Opera Academy. Selections include music from the Phantom of the Opera, the Merry Widow, and Cuban and Spanish Zarzuelas. To see photos click here

Vero Beach Opera collaborated with Orlando's Florida Opera Theatre and First Opera of St. Augustine to bring Rossini's The Barber of Seville to Vero Beach audiences on January 15th at 3 pm at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. This full production featured sets, costumes, and the Stetson University Symphony Orchestra. The production then traveled to Orlando and St. Augustine. Featured artists were Luigi Boccia as Count Almaviva, Kenneth Mattice as Figaro, Candice Hoyes as Rosina, Thomas Potter as Bartolo, David Salsbery Fry as Basilio, and Kristal Smink as Berta.
